Next Tournament:

The Committee is pleased to announce that the next Society Tournament will take place on Saturday May 15th, in the Salad Bowl (top floor of the Student Union).

It will, once again, be a £5 re-buy Tournament, with a £2 registration fee.

Registrations must be completed (and entry & registration fees paid) before 7:30pm on the night.

All Members, as well as guests, are welcome, however there are, currently, only 45 Places available in the Tournament, therefore it is strongly advised that anyone wishing to play should Email Us to confirm their place.

A Poker Tutorial will also be run alongside the Tournament by one of The Committee members.

College Poker Championship:

The Committee would like to remind all Members of the College Poker Championship (CPC) being run by Royal Vegas Poker. We would like to see as many Members as possible taking part in these regular Sunday Freerolls seeking the premier Student Poker Player in the world!

Please remember that you MUST use your University Email Address to register, both with CPC and Royal Vegas, in order to qualify for the CPC and its near $100,000 prize pool, including specific prizes for UK-based players.

Private Games:

If anyone is planning any private games and would like some extra players, then Email Us and we can send out a bulk email for you from one of our private email accounts. The Committee holds quite regular private games at our house in central St. Andrews. If anyone wishes to join us then email Christian Harris and he will be in touch when we are planning a game. It must be stressed though that these games and any involvement from any member of The Committee in them have NO CONNECTION with the Poker Society whatsoever and are NOT Society events.

Committee Success in Super Satellite Event + Trips to Dundee:

Congratulations to Tournament Director Fraser Daun who successfully outlasted over 20 players to win a £20 re-buy Super Satallite in Dundee.

Fraser will now take his place alongside many poker professionals on Friday 30th April in the £500 Double Chance Tournament at Gala Casino, Dundee.

The Committee invite any members or guests to attend the second Super Satellite for this Event, on Tuesday 27th in Dundee, as well as to attend the Main Event on the Friday to watch Fraser (and hopefully other Members) play. Email Us for details!
